How to identify a two way mirror

With the increasing number of  clothing shops around the world, it's important that everyone knows how to identify a two way mirror.
Some people may not know what a two way mirror is, so I will take a moment to explain what a two way mirror is. A two way mirror is a mirror that is partially reflective and partially transparent. It's like a normal mirror from one side and a transparent, see through glass from the other side. So, this implies that you could install one of these mirrors in a lady's (or even men's) fitting room and have someone watching on the other side or worse, get a camera to record all of the things going on the inside... The victim will have no idea that he/she is being watched! Creepy? definitely!

So, how to identify these creepy mirrors? Well, you could always tell a hilarious joke or do something funny and hear for someone's laughter...... Just kidding! Fortunately there's a more appealing way to identify those type of mirrors. When ever you enter one of those suspicious looking fitting rooms, check the mirror for the following:
Place your fingertip against the reflective surface; if there is a gap between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is normal mirror.

However  if your fingernail directly touches the image of your nail, then it's a two way mirror. Now this might be the good time to leave the place (and inform the authorities).
Now that's all I can tell you about two way mirrors. Happy shopping!!!
